They say that the greatest happiness in the world lies on the back of a horse. We think so too.
That’s why we have well-trained school horses and mountain-experienced, sure-footed Haflinger horses from our own breeding on our equestrian farm in South Tyrol.
Our riding lessons are also available to external guests.
The riding stable is open from Monday to Friday, and closed on Saturday and Sunday.
All riding lessons can be booked by calling Katy on +39 3405478603 or on site .
🙂 As a host family, our animals are especially close to our hearts. We take very good care of them. You are welcome to help us with the feeding times but we ask you not to feed our animals outside the feeding times or give them treats. Our animals have a very good routine and we only want the best for them. Thank you
Our farm in the Passeiertal valley has been recognised as a specialised equestrian farm by the South Tyrolean Farmers’ Association and “Urlaub auf dem Bauernhof – Roter Hahn”. Ten criteria prove our distinction:
Have you ever taken part in our three-day adventure trekking tour? No? Then it is time that you did! Small tip: It’s best to book the tour a year in advance, because the places always fill up pretty quickly. The event always takes place on two weekend in September!
Two dinners, two overnight stays with breakfast are included in the price, the rest of the meals, like lunch, are at your own expense. Contact us for more information! (2024 we don´t go)
What would a farm in the Passeiertal valley be without animals. Pretty boring.
That’s why we don’t just have horses at Steinerhof, but a colourful selection of all kinds of four-legged friends and feathered creatures:
Get a taste of the farm when you look over our shoulders and help out with the barn work yourself: whether it be fetching eggs early in the morning, mucking out or feeding the cows.
